i would try setting the ports to default instead of :8888. Then restart the server and try again.
If that doesn't work install xampp which is exactly like mamp and test your web pages using that.

If you are commenting on what you do, then its people like you that make the studios demand limits on legitimate customers like me.

got a question.. how do i embed the music video from nek's website into a personal webpage? I have tried to use the embed code, which shows the video fine in a little window within safari.. however when i go to view it in ie 6 on any win xp machine i get a white box with an unhighlighted scroll.. so yeah, im tryin to embed the almeno stavolta video in the quicktime format..

But of course, you do realise there's a difference between wanting everyone to get a fair deal and giving money away for free? You will get compensated for your work as a lawyer, you don't need my money. I just want to see that Atebits is compensated for his work as a dev.
My logic is that people should pay a fair amount for what they get, whereas in society today people only care about the monetary cheapness of things regardless of the wider cost. Cheap foods and electricity at the expensive of the environment, cheap clothes at the expensive of child labour etc.

that sounds like a plan,only problem is,the store,i have a weird feeling that the 14st store wont be selling them,i havent called any stores,but i do know ppl are already waiting outside the 5th ave store,so to be on the safe side i think the 5th ave store would be best

I welcome this feature.
People want a layout with usability, not a design that looks just so. Still, both are easy to achieve if your skilled.
I always surf with my text zoomed at least one level which is available on every browser - this messes up more wabpages than it should. Some of my favorite websites have comment textareas with 3-4 lines of text and are as few as 20 characters wide. I always end up writing in Pages and copying into the textarea.

I am not defending Full of Win. I sincerely am not.
But some people should keep in mind that it's entirely possible to love a company's products while not liking part or all of the actual company or how they operate on given occasions.
It's very easy for some here to just throw out the term troll and hater just because someone isn't accepting of Apple's PR, etc.

Your point is quite valid, but this is specifically directed at Full of Win who has a long history of making anti-Apple comments here. It's certainly true that he might like their products and hate the company that makes it. His comments are so over the top, so factually slanted, that he gets criticized for it.
Either he is sincere, in which he might take the advice to heart. Or he is trolling, in which case he is already doing precisely what he set out to do, in which case nothing will change.

The studios want Apple to limit the number of iPods that the downloads can be played on. Do they not realise that the entire point of the iTunes Store is to drive sales of the highly profitable iPods? I cannot see Apple agreeing.

I'm still on an older Family 850 plan for $50.99 and it's not showing up. Is it because you have to be on a current 700+ Family Plan? If so, I don't think it would do me any good as the 700 plan cost more than the 850 I'm on now.
